Who exactly is 'Mujahid e Millat' and who is 'Hafiz e Millat'?
Can someone please provide bios? And I'm still waiting for the bio Mufti Nizam alDin Sahib. Even a few lines for each scholar are sufficient. |

Mawlana Habeeb-ur-Rahman (alayhirahma) was popularly known as Huzoor Mujahid-e-Millat. He was one of the most prominent Sunni ulemas of post-independent India, whose service to the people of Eastern India is immense. Any trace of Sunniyat in Orissa is largely due to him. No other place in India celebrates the badi Gyarweeh sharif with as much gusto as his hometown, Bhadrak, Orissa (India).

this always amazes me. both of these leading scholars were students of sadru'sh shari'a a'zami raHimahullah!
he is certainly the greatest mudarris in the last 100 years to have students of this calibre. |

Apologies for digression. The above link that I posted on Huzur Mujahid-e-Millat (alayhi rahma) also has information on another awliya, Baba Bukhari (rahmatullah alayhi).
One can notice the very odd shape of the mazaar sharif (see the pic with pink chadar laden mound). Legend has it that Baba Bukhari was so engrossed in muraqaba that his body was covered by termites and it turned into a termite mound. His devotees decided to cover that with sheet (chadar) and that became his resting place (mazar sharif). That's legend, what's the fact then? One of our very close family friends, who is a Qadri pir, informed us about the real state of mazar sharif. Since he was very close to the mutawallis of Kaipadar sharif, he was invited to attend a private annual ritual when the chadar is removed and maintenance is done. Lo and behold, he found that Baba Bukhari is still sitting in the posture of muraqaba, with his body in normal state and not a single trace of termite on his body; his nails and hair are trimmed regularly. Such is the status of the Awliya Allah! ...and salafis/deobandis believe that the Prophets (alayhis salam) are reduced to dust (maazAllah)! |

this is what mawlana abu zohra rizwi [manchester] wrote:
Imam Baraylawi established Jamia Manzar al-Islam from where hundreds of leading scholars graduated and this school is over 100 years old. His younger son, Mufti-e-A’zam Hind, inaugurated Jamia Mazhar al-Islam Bareilly which continued the same mission. His student and khalifa, Mawlana Amjad Ali A’zami undertook such revolutionary work in the field of teaching and education that there is no example that can equal it in the past century. Here, I will only mention his elite students and the educational establishments that they initiated:
Every name in this list is a shining star and each of them served the field of education and teaching such that whole books can be written about them. However, I will detail only three of Sadru’sh Shari’ah’s select students – Muhaddith-e-A’zam Pakistan, Hafiz-e-Millat Mubarakpuri and Imam al-Nahw Sayyid Ghulam Jilani Meeruti. I will list their notable students so that one can determine whether or not, through these scholars, the blessings of Imam Baraylawi in the field of education are worldwide. The notable students of Muhaddith-e-A’zam Pakistan Mawlana Sardar Ahmad Faisalabadi:
The notable students of Hafiz-e-Millat Mawlana Shah Abdul Aziz Muhaddith Mubarakpuri:
