Default Can one say...

..." main sirf tum ko isliye Khuda maanta hooN ke Tu Muhammad ka Khuda hai?"

I've heard it referenced/mentioned by a few Sunni ulema from Indo-Pak in speeches...

(I only believe that you are God because you are the God of Muhammad ?)

Historically, there were these opinions [amongst sunnis] that whether a belief in God depends upon revelation or reason. i think, hanbalis were of the former opinion.
since, the Noble Messenger(s) is one of a kind and the Qur'an was revealed to Him(s). so it should be fine. what it means is that the true conception of God is that which is taught to us by the Prophet(s) through the Qur'an.

Should it be taken in literal sense, or metaphorically. If I say That Allah is The God of Huzoor Sallallahu 'Alayhe Wasallam , this statement is 100% correct. Since God revealed Himself to Sarkaar Sallallahu 'Alayhe Wasallam , and he as a Messenger, informed us about Allah so we Believe Allah The Unseen, to be Our Creator. As the Prophet Sallallahu 'Alayhe Wasallam accepted Allah as His Lord, so we do as Sarkaar Sallallahu 'Alayhe Wasallam is al-Ameen ! I hope this reason is correct.

no, we certainly cannot say this!

it's a grammar crime. 'tum' and then 'tu'?

had you going, didn't i, nj?

on a more serious note, alahazrat always uses singular tenses for Allah. credit to sunni ulama for following alahazrat in this. i am always slightly piqued when wahabis like the deobandis and tablighis say 'Allah farmate haiN'.

al-salam `alaikum
can you please elaborate on the opinion you ascribe to Hanbalis? which Hanbalis and where said that having belief in God depends on revelation?
