Alhamdulillah thanks to everyones help so far we have raised just over 1/4 of the required amount for the Masjid project in Yemen, please see the donations counter on-line. Once we have 1/3 (approximately £10,000) building work can commence.

If anyone is able to arrange collections at the local masajid in their areas that would be a great help.

On the authority of the Leader of the believers, Uthman ibn Affaan, may Allah be pleased with him, The Prophet of Allah (salAllahu alayhi wa sallam) said, " Whoever builds a masjid intending Allah's pleasure, Allah will build for him a similar place in Paradise".

Al-Imam Jalal ud din Al-Suyuti (rahmatullah alayh) mentioned in “Tadrib al-Rawi” and in “Qatf al-Azhar al-Mutanathara fi al-Akhbar al Mutawatirah” that the ahadith of building a masjid for the sake of Allah reach the level of Mutawatir (mass narrated reports).

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuhu,

Yemen is one of the poorest countries in the World.

Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah across Yemen is in a tearful state. Ahl al Bid'ah are on the rise and are heavily funded from Saudia and other gulf states. It is a sad fact to say we are witnessing what could be the final days of the Hanafi Madhab in that noble land, but we have hope in the grace and mercy of Allah (subhanahu wa t'ala)

The Ministry of Religious Endowments pays little attention to the Tihamah region in particular and the Hanafi Madhab is badly neglected. The government being broadly of Zaydi-Shi'ah orientation.

Most people when they hear of Yemen think of Hadramawt which has in the last decade received great attention and financial support from outside in particular the city of Tarim. But Northern Yemen remains neglected and in particular the Hanafi Mazhab.

The last stand of the Hanafi Madhab in the blessed land of Yemen is in Zabid and its surrounding villages. But the saudia-backed wahabbi movements are taking village by village under their corrupt doctrine within these regions.

May Allah (subhanahu wa t'ala) give victory to the Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah.

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatAllah wa barakatuhu

Almost 3 years ago the Mufti of the Hanafis in the blessed city of Zabid (zadaha Allahu sharafa) al-Shaykh Qasim Kuzaym(hafizahullah) asked whether the tradition of knowledge still continued in the blessed family of the Mujaddid Imam Ahmad Rida Khan (alayhi rahmatuRahman)

When he was informed of Mufti diyar al-Hindiyyah Sayyidi al-Shaykh Akhtar Rida Khan (hafizahullah) he expressed a sincere desire to see him in person.

When the Mufti had read numerous fatawa of Imam Ahl al-Sunnah wal Jama'ah Ahmad Rida Khan (rahmatAllah alayh) he remarked that he considered him to be of the level of al-Imam al-Bazdawi (rahmatAllah alayh) in the Hanafi Madhab.

After reading one of the books of the Imam he raised it and placed it on his head.

On another occasion he told the students that Imam Ahmad Rida Khan (rahmatAlllah alayh) is our grandfather.

In his endorsement on Sayyidi Mufti Shams al Huda al Misbahi's (hafizahullah) 'Sharh Muwatta Imam Muhammad' he described Imam Ahmad Rida Khan (rahmatAllah alayh) as Mujtahid in Masail in the Hanafi madhab

Alhamdulillah due to the Divine Grace of Allah and the barakah of Sayyidun RasulAllah (salAllahu alayhi wa sallam) the Mufti has been invited this year to the Urs of Shaykh ul Islam wal Muslimin Sayyidi Ala Hazrat (rahmatAllah alayh)
