گــــر بر سرِ كوى دوست، راهى دارم در سايه لطف او، پنـــاهى دارم

غم نيست كه راه رفت و آمد باز است طاعت اگرم نيست، گناهى دارم


Gar barsar-e-ku-ye-doost, rahi daram
Dar saayeh-ye-lotf-e-u, binahi daram
Gham nist ke rah-e-raft-o-aamad baz ast
Ta'at agaram nist, gunahi daram!

If I'm on the friend's street, I'm a wayfarer
In the shade of his pleasure, I have sight
I'm not sad if the road to come and go is open (or not)
If I do not have obedience, I am a sinner!
