Smile Quduri in English

Selam Alikum siblings in Islam

Looks like we'll be seeing the long-awaited Mukhtasar al-Quduri, first ever English translation, adorning our shelves very very soon - before end of April 2010, as the grapevines tell me.

How cool is that!

I can't wait!

btw - translation is by a sunni (Shaykh Imam Tahir Mahmood Kiani), surprised? Of course you are!

There are Sunnis following our tradition of Maslak`e Ala Hazrat (radhiy Allahu ta`ala anhu) translating Nur al-`Idah, although it has not been published.

Yes. There is an 'incomplete' translation of the Mukhtasar al-Quduri on the internet.

May I mention that 'that translation is neither complete and nor proper Quduri', many scholars have claimed it to have gone 'off the tracks' of the proper Quduri because of its irregular layout. Pick up a copy of the Quduri and compare it - massive difference there is. Good attempt anyhow.

The one coming out soon in print form is tipped to be a 'legend' because it is claimed to have completed on the '1000th death anniversary' of Imam Quduri, as well as being the first ever 'complete' and 'true' translation of the Mukhtasar al-Quduri.

subhan Allah
