Assalaamu 'Alaykum
This question is actually from my mother. At the time of Takbeer-e-Tahreemah, what should be the position of the palm? Should the palm face outwards (just like Shafaee' men) or towards the shoulder? ALLAH HAAFIZ

I don't know if you worded that incorrectly or meant it. I have never heard of men or women's palms needing to face "towards" the shoulder. As I know both madhhabs stipulate that the palms must face the Qiblah. As I know, men should lift the palms until the earlobes, the palms facing the Qiblah. Women (Hanafi) should only lift them until the chest, also facing the Qiblah (like the Shafi3is, men and women). Someone please correct me if I am wrong. Allah knows best.
