the lost juz' of 'AbdulRazzaq that was reportedly found and published recently which contains a version of this narration is a forgery as has been mentioned by Sayyid Muhammad al-Ya`qoubi, Shaykh GF Haddad, Shaykh Umar Nashuqati and many others.

if you would like to see proof of this let me know and I will post it.

it is obviously true, however, that many ulema may have considered the meaning of the first part true.

brother faqir, it is mentioned that"Al-Bayhaqī said: And what is meant by Prophet Muḥammad r saying: « I was written [in Umm Al-Kitab] in Allah’s presence as the Seal of the Prophets, while Adam was still kneaded in his clay » is that [his prophethood] was destined [to him] and predestined by Allah even before he [i.e the Prophet] became the father of Men and the first of Messengers."
