Default Dars: Bahar e Shariat

Download the first 4 lectures in Urdu - given by Mufti Aslam Raza.

http://www.ahlesunnat.biz/darsbahareshariat.htm

The lessons are IMPORTANT - they deal with our Aqeedah.

Hopefully this program will be held on a monthly basis and we will continue to upload the recordings.

Assalaamua'laikum.

Is hazrat saying that rizq and the time of death CAN BE part of qadha-muallaq?

Please see Part3-A.

How does this fit in with the various ahadith and verses?

wassalaam.

Salaam alaykum. I heard the clip again, but did not find anything incompatible.

What hazrat is saying is that in the Ilm of Allah, these things are fixed, absolute - but not necessarily mentioned as is in the Lauh e Mahfooz.

I suggest you too listen to it carefully once again.

JazakAllah for the clarification. I had put this question to another scholar and he too replied along the same lines, that both 'mushabah-ba-mubhram' and 'qadha-muallaq' are w.r.t the angels, awliya etc. but in Allah's (Azzawajal) knowledge they are fixed.

This discussion also highlights the desirability of seeking the wasila of the awliya as 'mushabah-ba-mubhram' can only be changed through the dua of an extremely pious individual.

And jazakAllah for uploading the other parts too.
I had put the previous parts on a CD and asked the SDI office in our area to relay it on their audio cable. I don't know if they did but the muballigh was inquiring about mufti sahib, so i was wondering if you could put up a small introduction about him on ahlesunnat.biz.

Finally, if you find time please contribute to this thread.

Wassalaam.

Just to let people know:

We had started a similar dars of bahar-e-shariat in our area during ramadan:

1) Only a handful of people were interested in correcting their aqaid!

2) Most of the faces changed every night!

3) The ignorance of those who attended, including myself, was scary to say the least.

4) The term 'ooparwala' ('the one above') is freely used by many: blame the hindi cinema. And when told that saying this is kufr, people used to get astonished: " But mawlana, everyone says that" !

5) Alhamdulillah, the scholar made this topic the central theme of the friday sermons in a local mosque and even on the last ten nights of ramadan, when many would be present in the mosque. We have atleast succeeded in making people realize that 'Ilahiyat' is indeed a chapter in itself when it comes to aqaid and that much needs to be done in this direction.

Please make dua for the scholar who showed perseverance even in the face of the luke-warm response. He is shortly going to Dar-al-Mustafa in Tarim to further his education.

wassalaam.

PS: Just yesterday i had a talk about this issue with an imam sahib at a mosque in mumbai and he said that even there the response from people is indifference. He has started these duroos since feb 2012 and he says that quite often not a SINGLE person turns up!
