personally i blame the shaykhs who recommend their books. There may even be closit zindiqs and murtads

what closet?! mark hanson, tim winters, nazim qubrusi, hisham kabbani's perennialism, faraz rabbani's twisting of fiqh books for the sake of political correctness, gibril haddad's blind defense/support of these individuals, nuh keller's disgraceful screed, etc. - is open for all to see; notwithstanding tahir's tandav at wembley!

i have said it before too and say it again and with the greatest respect to the Habaib (actually pretty much only Habibs Umar and Ali Jifry), that they don't know english and might miss the few droplets of the perennialist poison that have poisoned the entire cauldron, is understandable, but their students need to communicate such people's blatant violations of Islam to them and if they still support them, then really we have no choice but to distance ourselves from them too, and it really is a doom n gloom case for western Muslims who look up to these people and take their deen from them!

mulla ramadan al-bouti fell from grace, and hassoun made his true colors known by their support of bashar and it's baffling why/how mark hanson still enjoys the repute he does!

alhamdulillah a million times that we know Sunniyat from proper Sunni teachers who are not bought and sold openly on the free market! otherwise seeing these shameless men, i can see how wahabism would be the manhaj of choice for anyone with any iota of shame and dignity who doesn't know any better!

Sidi Abdal Qadir,

In one of the lectures Shaykh Habib Ali Jifry was praising Shaykh AbdalHakim Murad.

He said '' I consider abdal Hakim Murad as Imam Gazali of the West''.

You can conclude from the above statement on how closely shaykh habib ali may have observed shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad.

I personally feel its not fair to sit behind the screen and classify shaykh abdal hakim murad amongst the perennialist lot.
