This is very unlikely because bahawalpur/Multan are 77% Sunni, 10% wahabi, and 3% hindu. khairpur/sukkur and mirpukhas/umarkot are 75% Sunni, 5% wahabi, 10% Hindu. infact larkana, which is not included in husainistan, has a higher percentage of shia than husainistan itself.

Careful evaluation of pakistani muslims indicates that the various shiite groups in the country make up no more than 8% of the population. This comes to around 17 million shiites. probably lower than this for a population of 210 million.

[2013-05-13 05:05 pm - Taalib-e-Ilm] I came across a translation of imam Ghazzali alay hirRehma and he refers to something as 'rarer than Red Sulphur' which is known as al-kibrit al-Ahmar in Arabic.

'The father of chemistry' Jabir ibn al-Hayyan refers to such a substance ans he theorises that the transmutation of one metal into another could be affected by the rearrangement of its basic qualities. This change be mediated by a substance known as 'elixir' which comes from the word 'al-iksir'. It is often considered to exist as a dry red powder made from the legendary 'philosopher's stone.'

The philosopher's stone is known to turn metals into Gold and according to western legend, elongate a persons life. Something similar to the philosopher's stone, which is also considered to be a legend, is 'the water of life'.

Ibn kathir says in his tareekh - 'King Zulqarnain discovered a type of water referred to as the ‘water of life’ which when drank would allow a person to remain alive forever. He departed with many people in search of it and Khidr, (Alay his salaam) was also with him. At one place Khidr (Alay hissalaam) drank some water and the King did not.' Now, is khidr (alay his Salam) the only person to have drank from the water of life? Is it possible that other people have drunk from it?

I read the something in a book regarding the grandson of Ghawth e Azam (radiAllahu anhu) and the son of Huzur Tajudeen abdul Razzaq (radiAllahu anhu) - 'his name is Shaykh Jamalullah. He is said to closely resemble huzur ghawth e azam and was also loved dearly by him. He is said to be Alive even to this day! And is known as 'hayatul meer'. He is said to be in the area of Samarkand. Many Awliyah Allah have met him and have even taken Bay'ah at his hands. ShaykhJamaalullah says that Huzoor Ghawth e Azam used to often say- 'O Jamaalullah! You will attain a very long life. When you enter the era of hazrat Isa (alay his Salam) then you should pass my Salaams to him.'

Once someone asked Hazrat Jamaalullah if he knew for how long he would live, and he replied by saying that he was not aware of that, but he knew for sure that he would meet Hazrat Esa and serve him just as his great grandfather foretold.'

Does anyone know of any other saints or people who lived long? Does anyone if there's been anymore mention of a water of life? And if the water of life exists, can similar objects or things similar to it exist?

I found this to be confusing. As we believe in all the Sifaat of Allah without Kayfiyyah, whereas Imam Malik said that the Kayfiyyah is Majhool (unknown). This would imply that there is a kayfiyyah, but that we only don't know it. And this is the same as/close to what pseudo-salafis say nowadays.

Can somebody please explain?

If this is what you meant, then you did not become a kaafir thereby and your wife did not become irrevocably separated from you. But you have to ask Allah for forgiveness for these words and not say such things again, because it is obviously wrong and because it implies hatred of Muslims and resentment towards them in general, which is unfair and unjust.

Ibn Baaz (may Allah deal him with 'adl) was asked:

Is making fun of the religion by mocking beards and shortening of the thobe regarded as kufr?

He replied:

That depends; if his intention is to make fun of the religion itself, then it is apostasy, as Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Say: ‘Was it at Allah, and His Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and His Messenger (SAW) that you were mocking?’

Make no excuse; you have disbelieved after you had believed.”

[at-Tawbah 9:65-66].

But if he was making fun of a particular individual for other reasons having to do with the beard or shortening of the thobe, meaning that he is strict, making fun of other matters concerning which this person is strict but is careless about other matters even though he knows that they are part of the religion, but it was not his intention to make fun of the religion itself, and he only intended to make fun of that person, then it is not apostasy. End quote.

Let us take a step backwards, and distil the main conclusions reached by the said Andalusian scholar in the preceding chapter, the one on Ahl al-fatrah.
Allah gave the message to humans through Prophets.
In the past, there were time gaps between one Prophethood and the other, during which no new Messenger was sent. That interval is termed fatrah. The humans living in any one such temporal interspace are called Ahl al-fatrah.
In our epoch, as we know, that is no longer applicable. The Muhammad age encompasses the entire last cycle of time from the moment he, Sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, was historically sent as Prophet until the annihilation of this dunyā.
That is why the pertinent issue now is purely the ruling on those who have not been reached by the final universal version of the message, rather than the judgment applying to Ahl al-fatrah, which would have been the case between the Messengership of ‘Īsā, peace upon him, and the Seal of Messengership by the best of creation, Sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.
Nevertheless, that step backwards we hinted at is useful to embed comprehension of certain key concepts.

The umbrella ruling on Ahl al-fatrah is that they are subject to no taklīf.
Taklīf means to obligate one by what entails a burden.
The Lawgiver obligated us (and the jinn) to pray five times a day, to fast from dawn to dusk in Ramadān, to avoid intercourse with a menstruating woman, to marry only women who are lawful to us, to perform the hajj in a particular manner, to exchange gold for silver hand-to-hand, to flog a slanderer and to make testamentary dispositions not exceeding one-third of our estates. All of that entails the placing of some obligatory encumbrances on the human self and its unfettered desires.
We are subject to it. We are muakallafūn.
That is so because we are the addressees of Allah’s Speech to us comprising His positive and negative injunction (command and prohibition).
During an interval between one Messenger and the Next, no such Divine address detailing the commands and prohibitions of His Law was conveyed. The humans living in that intermediate era were accordingly not muakallafūn. As a result, they were exposed neither to the opportunity of earning Divine reward nor to the possibility of attracting Divine chastisement.
Allah has in fact said in His noble Book: «We never punish until We have sent a Messenger» [Sūrah al-Isrā’: 15].

Shaykh ‘Atiyyah b. ‘Aqīl at-Turtūshī classified Ahl al-fatrah among the pre-Islamic Arabs under one of four categories:
• A group of people who apprehended the truth thanks to their inner perception, in the absence of a Law conveyed to them, and thus attested Allah’s Oneness in their state of ignorance (jāhiliyyah). Quss b. Sā`idah al-Iyādī is a standard example of that existential category;
• A group of people who, during the Age of Ignorance, practiced a particular sharī`ah which had taken entrenched form in the past, such as Judaism and Christianity (as with the Arabs of Najrān). They had not been addressed by the message conveyed by the relevant Prophet to his specific nation. They had however adopted a subsisting sharī`ah. The member of this second category of Ahl al-fatrah is assigned the ruling pertaining to the followers of that particular sharī`ah. He will be resurrected with them and eternally rewarded or punished as part of them. We know for instance that the Companions of the Trench (Ashāb al-Ukhdūd) were mu’minūn from Najrān;
• A group of people who tampered with the earlier Revealed Laws and contradicted Prophetic teachings, and who caused fellow humans to emulate them in their deviations, as with ‘Amr b. Luhay, who introduced idol-worshipping and other forms of polytheistic associationism among the Arabs. They are people of kufr and shirk as evidenced by the Book and the Sunnah. Naturally, the belligerent enemies of historical Islam came from the ranks of those who associated themselves with such category of deviant humans. Their predecessors, however, were among Ahl al-fatrah. They were the evil component thereof. They are kuffār punished for their actions in the Hereafter. The Divine proof by which they merited otherworldly castigation had already become established against them before the advent of historical Islam. They attached themselves to the overt advocates of kufr, and earned Divine chastisement for themselves in accordance with that deliberate association [Other scholars, such as Shaykh Ibrāhīm al-Bayjūrī, contend that even alteration of earlier Revealed Laws, including doing so by idol-worshipping, did not take Ahl al-fatrah out of the general ruling to the effect that they were saved from the Fire];
• Lastly, a group of people who neither had īmān nor worshipped idols. They had neither tawhīd nor shirk. They followed no pre-existing Prophetic sharī`ah not tampered with one and innovated a false dīn. They spent their whole existence in a state of heedlessness (ghaflah) about all of that. They did not endorse the veracity of resurrection and did not refute it either, by for instance inclining towards the view that time was not finite but everlasting and that events were shaped by time. The last-mentioned one is the view advocated by the Dahriyyah, who are defined by Shaykh ‘Atiyyah b. ‘Aqīl at-Turtūshī as zanādiqah (plural of zindīq) and the basest variety of kuffār [Naturally, as time determined events and never ceased in their opinion, they advocated the futility of acts of worship]. This last group comprises those humans who were as heedless about the Revealed Laws as they were about altering them and setting up ways of life in conflict with the true Dīn. No proof was established in their respect either way, i.e. neither in their favour nor against them. They earned neither reward nor punishment. They are the group which in a literal sense could be truly and fully termed Ahl al-fatrah. There was nothing, as far as they were concerned, whose truthfulness could be attested (īmān) or denied and covered up (kufr). Exactly like pre-puberty children, lunatics and those who have not been reached by the Divine message through a Prophet, they are caused to enter the Garden purely by Allah’s favour, not as a reward for their actions. They are not beasts. They are humans. As such, their destination could only be the Garden or the Fire. There is no Purgatory in Islam. The inhabitants of the Ramparts (al-A`rāf) are merely held back from entering the Garden for a while. They were given neither glad-tidings nor warnings. They cannot be subjected to eternal punishment, because they were not addressed by Allah’s commands and prohibitions, hence taklīf did not embrace them.

We have exhausted the marrow of what Shaykh ‘Atiyyah b. ‘Aqīl at-Turtūshī had to say about Ahl al-fatrah.
Since we made it clear that the issue which concerns us here is a different one, given that the last and most comprehensive sharī`ah has been given to the whole mankind until the end of this world, the function of that traversal was to contextualize, introduce and smoothen our treatment of the core mas’alah.
The ruling on those who have not been reached by the message.
If one has not been reached by the message, Shaykh ‘Atiyyah b. ‘Aqīl at-Turtūshī tells us, he is judged in the same way as Ahl al-fatrah properly so-called, i.e. the aforesaid fourth category of them. The only difference is that Ahl al-fatrah existed in the past, and their age came to a conclusive end as a result of the comprehensive Messengership of Muhammad, Sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa-Sallam. As for the class of people we are dealing with here, their existence can be countenanced in our age and at any time until the extinction of this world.
Shaykh ‘Atiyyah b. ‘Aqīl at-Turtūshī then remarks:
“Having said that, it is far-fetched to imagine a person belonging to one of the nations which live in regions close to the lands of the followers of Islam, whichever frontier post manned by Muslims we might have in mind, who has not been reached by the message. Islam has in fact spread widely, and its seat of political power has extended vastly in both Eastern and Western lands which had been kept away from the Prophet’s direct reach, Sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa-Sallam. At the most, we might say that beyond these nations who live adjacently to the followers of Islam there are other nations inhabiting some remote corners of our planet. In that case, one might conjecture the existence among them of people who have never been reached by the message of Islam and who never received news of our Prophet, Sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa-Sallam, having been sent to them in that capacity.
If a person fulfils that description, and he has neither shirk nor tawhīd, he is exempted from taklīf in this dunyā and from punishment in the Hereafter, so his ultimate destination is the Garden (…)
On the other hand, if the message has reached someone and he did not attest the veracity of the sharī`ah, he has deserved to be chastised by the Fire because the proof has been established against him, whether he is among the People of the Book or not (…)
Allah said to them: «Someone has come to you bringing good news and a warning» [Sūrah al-Mā’idah: 19] . Because of that, he, peace upon him, said: “By the One in Whose Hand my self is: No Jew or Christian hears about me and does not have īmān in him but that he is a dweller in the Fire.” He, Sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa-Sallam, mentioned the condition that the Jew or the Christian heard about him, peace upon him. That is the actual meaning of the message having reached people (bulūgh ad-da`wah)”.

It is now time to bring some order:
  • When a person from a Christian background like Clint Eastwood and his colleague Nanni Moretti, or from a Jewish background like Woody Allen, expressly declares that he does not believe in Allah and that there is no Day of Rising or Divine requital of actions, and that those views represent his firm inner conviction and conscious choice, we are not even dealing with a person of heedlessness to begin with, for us to investigate whether he might have been reached by the last Prophetic version of the message: We are dealing here with a professed atheist and overt partisan of kufr.
  • There is no generic category called “mankind” where savants of Islam placed whoever eschewed classification under mu’min or kāfir. The mas’alah is who is saved and who is not. The destination is either to the Garden or the Fire, never in-between. We are neither Christians nor Mu`tazilah. The only issue for our savants, throughout the centuries, has been subjection to taklīf or otherwise. We have covered Ahl al-fatrah at length. A lunatic is under no taklīf. The reason is that he lacks ‘aql or rational discernment between truth and falsehood, right and wrong. He is not responsible for his decisions and their consequences. A minor before puberty (provided he is human as opposed to jinn) is not bound by taklīf according to the favoured position. He is termed sabī in the Law. Yes, we are aware that the entrenched classical view of the Hanafiyyah is that the pre-puberty minor is obligated to have īmān so long as he has discernment, and that, according to al-Bayhaqī, in the early part of Islam the judgments of the Law which imposed obligations on His human slaves were not conditional on the attainment of purity and only attached to one’s capacity to carry them out, before or after purity (Cf. Ibrāhīm al-Laqqānī’s Hidāyah al-Murīd li-Jawharah at-Tawhīd, where he elucidated his own poem on usūl ad-dīn). The person who has not been reached by the message, such as the member of an Aboriginal tribe in some remote area of the earth, is exempted from taklīf. Yes, in this case, too, we are not oblivious to the fact that the entrenched classical view of the Hanafiyyah maintains that even such a person is governed by taklīf, with all that he might reside all his life on the summit of a most impervious mountain, because intellect is present in him, and that suffices, according to that view, to lead him to the general truth; as a consequence of that, if he is inwardly settled on neither īmān nor kufr, he would head for the Fire, although he is excused from complying with the judgments of the Law by virtue of his unawareness of the (details of the) message, and the proof has not been established on him as far those judgments are concerned. He is excused for the fact he does not pray or pay zakāt, but not for the fact he does not attest the truth of fundamental realities of the Unseen (īmān). The basis of that contrary view is that knowledge of Allah is made obligatory by one’s intellect (‘aqlan), not by the Law (shar`an). Shaykh ‘Abdu’l-Ghanī an-Nābulusī, that giant Hanafī from Ottoman Palestine, declares as much in Al-Fath ar-Rabbānī wa al-Fayd ar-Rahmānī: Someone who lives away from human civilization does not commit sinful deeds, but is saddled with the inexcusable sin of kufr vis-à-vis Allah because intellect is enough to guide him to knowledge of Him, along with the signs He has set upon on the horizons and in their selves. That is the approach of Abū Mansūr al-Mātūrīdī. For the Ash`ariyyah, by contrast, a person who, not having been reached by the message, lives in doctrinal heedlessness until he dies, is excused and exempted from punishment; he remains in a state of original fitrah. What is required in his connection is having heard about the truth (sam`), not inborn intellection (‘aql). The Ash`ari view is more persuasive and congruous with Allah’s Justice.

  • In no age as this technology-dominated one, where markets and time zones are so close to one another and information inundates our lives, have outsiders been so acquainted with the teachings of Islam. Never mind Islam teaching belief in one God or in Muhammad’s status as His Messenger, or the obligation to pray, fasting in Ramadān, the hajj, the Ka`bah, the Holy Sanctuaries, jihād and shahādah, the hudūd, the Garden in store for believers, halāl slaughter and dietary injunctions, the veil, etc, not only some of the most thorough researches on the Dīn come from Cambridge or Tel Aviv, but lay people among the kuffār abundantly trade real or virtual discussions on jizyah, the prohibition of usury among us and other subtle details of Islam. To even suggest that they are oblivious to the message as if some far-away natives inhabiting near-forgotten islands is preposterous. What more is needed? That they should have memorized the different narrations from Imām Mālik in the Mudawwanah and the ‘Utbiyyah?
  • Differentiating between īmān and kufr, and defining the causes of salvation and perdition, have nothing whatsoever to do with whether a person is “bad” or not, let alone the extent of his “badness”. A bad mu’min is a mu’min. A nice person who adheres to kufr is a kāfir. We do not help him by avoiding that truth. We help him by calling him to the true Dīn, so that his goodness can bear fruits and expand. The best people in jāhiliyyah were the best in Islam. We must not cheapen entry in Islam. Allah guides whomsoever He wills. The praise belongs to Allah for the blessing of Islam, which is enough as a blessing. No Islamic scholar, for more than 1400 years, ever dreamed of defining a kāfir “an extensively bad fellow who extensively did harm to the Muslims”. We cannot end up doing what we accuse the Salafis of, i.e. re-writing Islam anew after almost one and a half millennium. We do not in other words need to ride the other extreme to distance ourselves from the senseless terror of suicide-bombers and their likes.
  • Lastly, Ahl as-Sunnah wa’l-Jamā`ah ought to be given the mainstream, well-tested view, rather than a rare anomaly. Let the scholars debate the anomalous rarities inter se. Emphasis is hastily placed on the singular view ascribed to al-Ghazālī that the requirement is “the right message about Islam having reached a person”, and not just the message. It is not only an odd position which does not echo the mainstream ruling of Ahl as-Sunnah wa’l-Jamā`ah, but it is also unsoundly idealistic. Where does one draw the line that the “correct message” has been delivered? Who draws that line? Nowadays, if one brought four Muslims together, he would be likely to hear at least three different versions of what the true message consisted in. Outward realities are judged by the outward. Wholesomeness lies in the median line, in the blessed wasatiyyah.
  • From an archetypal viewpoint, the devastation of the Khawārij beget the over-indulgence of the Murji`ah, just as Mu`tazilī rationalism has its fecundating seeds in the fatalists’ antecedent apathy.

The crux of the research is as follows:

1) If someone is able to sit on the ground & place a stool or hard surface in front to prostrate upon which is less than 9 inches/12 fingers in height then they CANNOT sit on a chair and pray salah. Such a person MUST also stand as much as possible for them to pray salah even if it is only for the time of Takbir Tahrima, and sit only when experiences severe difficulty by standing or that they fear the illness will increase or healing shall be delayed.

2) If someone is completely unable to sit on the ground or is unable to sit on the ground and prostate on a hard surface such as a table less than 9 inches in height (which is the least possible way allowed to actually prostate), then he is allowed to sit on a chair and pray salah by gesture (ishaarah). Such a person is NOT required to stand AT ALL from the beginning of the prayer nor is he required to stand and perform RUKU, even if it is possible for him.

3) The person allowed to pray salah on a chair does not need to prostate on a hard surface hence salah chairs do not require tables as salah on a chair is purely by gesture that means that he bows his head and back as much as easily possible for prostration and a little less for Ruku.

4) A person sitting on a chair and praying salah is not allowed to lead people that are standing in prayer because his prayer is by gesture and their prayer is actual.

I've sent a PM to two members but it seems they haven't been visiting the forums. as this is urgent i'm posting the question here.

i'm trying to contact the authors' of al-fiqh-al-manhaji (which is an excellent work on the proofs of the shafi madhhab). we wish to translate the book into urdu and publish it and require the authors' permission for the same.

we will share the translator's details should they like to see it.

another thing is, does anyone have an idea about the authors' aqa'id? they appear to be sunnis in their writing but a confirmation would be really helpful.

Notable differences are the point where Ruku markers are, and some differ in even the Para/Juz markers.

The Prints of Saudi, also have a difference in vowels, Example in Surah Rum, Ayah no: 54, have fatha whilst the indian prints have dhamma,

Also indian prints have Alif without a hamza above them, whilst Arab prints have Alif with the hamza above the alif.

Could anyone explain please.

They will go out of the sphere of Islam as an arrow shoots out from the bow. Their special mark of distinction shall be the shaving of their heads, or sitting and moving in groups. They will continue appearing one after another till their last group shall appear along with Dajjal." Mishkaat al Masaabih Page 309

Do Not Forget To Recite...

One of the companions of the Messenger of Allah, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, Mu'az, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Messenger, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, took hold of my hand and said:--

"O Mu'az! By Allah I love you, so I advise you to never
forget to recite after every prayer: ALLAHUMMA A'INNI
ALAA ZIKRIKA, WA SHUKRIKA, WA HUSNI IBAADATIKA

( O Allah, help me remember You, to be grateful to You,
and to Worship You in an excellent manner)". [Abu Dawud]

This Hadith stresses the fact that we should seek the help of Allah, Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, for His Remembrance, Thanksgiving and Worship because one cannot do anything without His help and Support. It also shows the superiority of Mu'az, may Allah be pleased with him, and the Prophet's love for him...

The Hadith on 72 Virgins - Saheeh, dhaeef or fabricated?

Because I have known this Masalah since childhood but recently an acquaintance (and if I may say that I am really unfortunate that I am acquainted with him) of mine tried to prove that this Hadith is Dhaeef and accepted by 'most scholars' as fabricated. Averting Punishment In The Grave.
[2013-02-17 12:02 pm - Abu Fauzi] Salaam everyone,
In his Book, "Admonition For The Neglectful", Faqih Abu Lais Samarqandi, may Allah be Merciful to him, mentioned 8 things that will save one from punishment of the Grave. He said that carrying out 4 things and abstaining from another 4 things will protect one from punishment in the grave.
The four (4) things to practice are:--
1) Punctuality with Salaah,
2) Abundant (regular) charity/sadaqa,
3) Recitation of the Holy Qur'an, and
4) Abundance of Zikr (regularly).

...And the 4 things to avoid are:--

1) Lying 2) Misappropriation of trust
3) Carrying tales
4) Droppings of urine (from contaminating the body and/or clothes)

The Messenger of Allah, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, has mentioned that punishment in the grave is usually due to droppings of urine. Note this well..

Modesty-The Beautifier.

The Noble Messenger of Allah, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, said:--

"The thing which has OBSCENITY will be

[2013-05-14 10:05 am - abu Hasan] imam abu ibrahim ismayil al-muzani was born in 175 AH (in the very year layth ibn sa'ad passed away) and was the student of `ali ibn ma'abad ibn shaddad, nu`aym ibn Hammad, imam shafiyi - and is known as his foremost disciple. indeed imam shafiyi is himself reported to have said: "muzani is the foremost advocate of my madh'hab" [al-muzani naSiru madh'habi]

imams who narrated from him are: ibn khuzaymah, TaHawiy, zakariyyah al-saji, ibn jawSaa, ibn abi-Hatim etc.

he was a mountain of knowledge, an adept debator; imam shafiyi said: "he can subdue even the devil in a debate".

he was an ascetic, immensely scrupulous, Godfearing and pious; frugal about dunya, and a person whose du'a was accepted.

if he ever missed the congregation (jama'ah) for prayer, he would repeat the same prayer twenty-five times. it is said that he prayed two-raka'ah after every article (mas'alah) he wrote down in his mukhtaSar. he would volunteer to wash the dead and would say: "i do it to soften my heart".

he passed away in 264 AH.

  • 1) Remain established on the Ahl us Sunnah wal Jamaa’h upon which the scholars of Haramayn Sharifayn Makkah Mukarramah and Madinah Munawwarah are upon.[1]
Disassociate your self from all the groups that areagainst the Ahl us Sunnah wal Jamaa’h, such as the Wahhabis, Deobandis, RawafidShias, Tableeghis, Mawdudis, Nadwis, Naicharies, Ghair Muqallid[2]and Qadianis etc.
Disassociate yourself from them, keep away fromthem, recognise and think of them as your enemies and opposition. Do not listento their speeches, don’t sit with them, and do not read any of theirliterature.
It does not take the Devil long to whisper (and sowthe seeds of doubt) in the heart, and protection is with Allah theExalted.
Where a man would avoid all situations where hiswealth and honour would be at stake, his Deen (religion) and Imaan (faith)should be held even dearer. It is agreat Fard (obligation) for a person to try his utmost to protect them.
Worldly wealth and respect and it’s life are onlybound to this world. Deen religion and Imaan faith will benefit the everlastingabode and concern for them is more necessary than anything else.

[1]Currently the Ahl us Sunnah wal Jama’ah Sunni Muslims are not in charge of thetwo holy Masjids in Makkah and Madinah.

Whilst browsing another forum I came across that Ameer e ahle Sunnat Maulana Ilyas Qadri has wrote a small booklet "Naath khawan aur Nazrana" in which he has written quotes from the Fatawah's of A'la Hazrat in which it is clearly stated that money which is given or taken for Naath khawani is HARAAM.

Does anyone have access to this fatwa as it is something I personally find detestable and is prevalent in may Mawlid events I have been to.

Translation:

1. He (RasūlAllāh şallAllāhu álayhi wa sallam) is the one who teaches us the true word;
And it is he who makes us tread the right path

2. He makes our scuttled ship to sail
It is he who fastens the shaky sails

3. He strengthens our lost hopes
And he makes faltering pulses to beat steadily

4. Who has ever reached the heights of Danā
It is he, who goes and comes unhindered! (a reference to the heights RasūlAllāh şallAllāhu álayhi wa sallam reached in the night of miýrāj)

5. It is surely Allāh táālā who forgives, but as a charity of RasūlAllāh
It is Allāh táālā who gives; and it is RasūlAllāh who distributes.

6. All the keys are in the hands of RasūlAllāh
He is known as the master of all.

7. By the virtue of the verse “O beloved, We have given thee Al-Kawthar”
It is he who has received the most of every good thing.

8. Allāh is the giver and Rasul is the distributor
Rizq (sustenance) is from Allāh, and he feeds us.

9. Even that is which is getting along well is ruined by us
Who sets these matters right? It is him; our master.

10. A million troubles; a billion enemies
Who saves us from them? It is him; our master.

11. During the agony of final moments, while in throes of death
He comforts us by reminding us the kalimah

12. In the grave, he pats us tenderly,
And makes us fall into a sweet sleep

13. On that day, when father flees from his own son
It is he who protects us.

14. When a mothers shall desert her only dear child
It is he who calls us lovingly towards himself

15. He falls on the ground in prostration,
To save his failing ummah from falling.

16. The cool and sweet drinks (at the kawthar and beyond)
Is what we drink and it is he, who gives us the drink.

17. Tell Raza to be joyful and remain happy forever
[O Raza] It is he who gives the glad tidings of raza [raza=Allāh is Pleased]

on flattery

personally i hesitate to praise someone to his face for fear that it may go to his head or that he may think that i am flattering him to get in his good-books. more so if the person actually has something which people may secretly wish to have a share in.

but i think there are people who, for whatever reason, enjoy flattering others. i think they derive the same pleasure that some people get from teasing, name-calling and ridiculing the less gifted, especially if that person happens to take this to heart.

sometimes flattery is easily detected but at other times one just doesn't know what to think. one's got to have husn-az-zann and at the same time it seems that the praise is undue or pointless at the moment. and then their's the chance that the person is sincere and having husn-az-zann about you.

but how atrocious it feels to think that the person deems one such a praise-hungry idiot that he expects one to swallow whatever he throws at you!

any pointers in the books of tasawwuf on how to tell flattery and sincere praise apart?

Ubudiyat alShaykh
[2013-03-10 03:03 pm - kattarsunni] Some people have validated the term 'u'budiyat alShayh'. Of course this is then interpreted as obedience to the shaykh. And it is also analysed on the term 'Abd alNabi'.

In reality 'abd' and 'ubudiya' convey two very different meanings. The term 'ubudiya' cannot be used for a shayh according to Shaykh Abdul Hadi Kharsa who states it is 'shirk qawli' and the one who uses this term must repent.

The essential reality of Patience is to prevent the soul from complaining: he who moans, is no longer patient; he who whines complains...

Pir Chaman Qadri
[2013-02-06 05:02 am - Taalib-e-Ilm] I have heard about this shaykh (he passed away recently), and he is the the shaykh of Maryam Qadri, who is a revert aswell as a staunch sunni and an ardent lover of alaHazrat. The shaykh is also a khalifa of mufti azam e hind and a descendant of Ghawth al-Azam. I was browsing through his site and I found a lot of disturbing content regarding interfaith unity and other things which don't make sense to me such as the shaykh allowing non-Muslims to be initiated into the qadri silsila and encouraging people of all religions to follow their "own path for all paths lead to God."

Now, I found all this content very similar to what tahir ul padri says.

My questions are:
1) can someone close to the shaykh confirm whether the site is an accurate representation of the shaykhs beliefs? (preferably Maryam Qadri as she used to be a member on this forum)

2) if all this is true then what would the ruling be on saying such words?

Fatawa Africa translation request

was listening to a mufti sahib (Hafidhahullah) explain a fatwa from the fatawa-africa of sayyidi Alahadhrat (QaddasaAllahu sirrahu) regarding the saying

"He who hath no peer (spiritual guide) his peer is the devil".

those who have read and understood it will know how difficult it is to find words of praise and thankfulness that will do it justice. so i will not attempt it.
"Keh degi sab kuchh unke sana khwan ki khaamoshi"

this fatwa is historical and in its last few sentences Alahadhrat himself acknowledges its uniqueness, and rightly so. a definite must read for anyone interested in tasawwuf.

so i wish to make a humble but BIG and direct request to sidi abu Hasan and sidi Aqib Qadri that either of you please take this burden upon yourselves to translate the fatwa into english, for it's guaranteed to benefit hundreds.

apart from setting so many notions aright, i'm confident it will serve as a call to many fake peers, especially in the west, to close shops.

hope you will consider this request. may Allah (azzawajal) reward you and grant you what is best for you.

this is what the honorable mufti sahib said about the fatwa:

" after reading it i felt like a traveler who having lost his way in a desolate desert and having wandered for long suddenly chances upon an oasis with abundant shade and cool water to quench his thirst ........."

The following is my humble attempt at writing a Naat for the first time, having been inspired by a famous one by Mufti Akhtar Raza Sahab (damat barakatuhum al-aliyah). (PS: This has been done by many illustrious writers, including Ala Hazrat, Mufti-e-Aazam e Hind, as well as Mufti Akhtar Raza Sahab).

I had the great fortune of reciting the entire Naat Shareef at the Rawdha Mubarak of the beloved Holy Prophet - on last Friday (11 Rabi ul Aakhir) - yes, indeed directly facing the golden railings (of course in a very soft voice).

[2013-05-23 08:05 am - Alf] A friend informed me that in recent times deobandis have started boasting about Faisla Kun Munāzra, (The Decisive Debate/ The Final Debate) a book written by Manzūr Nomāni al -Deobandi (1323A.H/1905C.E-1417A.H/1997C.E). Some one who goes just by the name of the book might think that this book is about some debate. But the author clarifies right at the beginning( after defending and praising Ismail Dehlavi!) that this book is a ‘reply’ which he had prepared for a debate which was to take place at Lahore in the year 1933.The debate didn’t take place due to police intervention. The author then decided to publish this ‘reply’ in refutation to the book Husam al Harmain (The Sword of two sanctuaries) written by the great sunni scholar Imām Ahmad Razā Khān al-Qādri Rh (1272/1856-1340/1921) against Mirza Ghulām Ahmad Qādyāni and the Four Deobandi herectis. The so called ‘reply’ of Manzūr Nomāni is nothing but a futile attempt to interpret the statements of disbelief written by the four deobandi elders.



Mufti Ajmal Sambhali Rh (1318/1900- 1383/1963) not only refuted Husain Tandvi al Deobandi (1297/1879-1377/1957) in his masterpiece work Rad Shahāb e Sāqib bar Wahābi Khāib, which was written in the year 1274/1954 but also interpretations of Manzūr Nomāni has been answered .Almost all the possible tricks employed by these Deobandi authors has been answered and refuted in detail in Rad Shahāb e Sāqib bar Wahābi Khāib.



Later, in the year 1409/1988, Mufti Sharif al Haq Amjadi Rh (1339/1921-1421/2000) wrote Sunni Deobandi Ikhtilāf Ka Munsifāna Jaiza (A fair analysis of the Sunni-Deobandi Dispute). This book was written to highlight the lies and mischief of Manzūr Nomāni present in his book Faisla Kun Munāzra. Mufti Sharif al Haq refuted each and every lie of Manzūr Nomāni point by point. This book is in 151 pages and has been translated into English. Insha Allah, soon it will be published.

This translation of al-Shamā'il al-Muḥamadiyya is a complete translation of all 415 narrations of the original Arabic text. For the ease of the reader, the chains of narration have been omitted in the translation but retained within the original Arabic. All linguistic and narrator related notes have been omitted from the translation. Where Imām Tirmidhī has commented on the meaning of a particular word, rather than translate the commentary, the meaning has been employed within the translation.

The translation and annotations are in plain English and have been kept as simple as possible in order to cater to a wider audience. The translation is as close to the Arabic text as possible, however, where a literal translation would seem discordant to the correct etiquette that must be maintained when speaking of the Messenger of Allāh (Peace be upon him), the text has been translated as best befitting.

For the sake of annotation we employed the use of a series of commentaries on the Shamā'il, as well as a number of independent works on the topic. Namely the commentaries of: Imām al-Bājūrī, Imām Ibn Ḥajr al-Haythamī, Mulla ‘Alī al-Qārī, Imām al-Manāwī, Imām Jasūs and Imām al-Suyūṭī. As well as employing the use of the independent works of Imām al-Nabhānī and Imām Naqī ‘Alī Khān al-Baraylawī. The annotation focuses largely on the topic of the Shamā'il itself rather than elaborating on the various differences of opinion or Fiqh rulings which can be extracted from select narrations.


As the Shamā'il was not authored with a formal and explanatory introduction, we have inserted the introduction of Imām Yusuf al-Nabhānī’s Wasā'il al-Wuṣūl at the beginning of the work. We have also inserted two appendices at the end of the work: A Concise Biography of Imām Tirmidhī by Shaykh ‘Abd al-Ḥaq al-Muḥaddith al-Dehlawī and a series of additional narrations on the topic of the Shamā'il taken from Ibn al-Jawzī’s al-Wafā bi Aḥwāl al-Muṣṭafā .

Question: “What do the Ulama of the Deen say regarding the following question: Does the Zaat [Being] of Allah Ta’ala – Glorious is His Name – have the attribute of kithb [falsehood] or not? Does Allah Ta’ala speak lies or not? How shall a person who says that Allah speaks lies be described? Elaborate and you will be rewarded [by Allah Ta’ala].
Answer:
Every now and again the Grave Worshipping Barelwi sect releases its worn out and monotonous papers of canards, half-truths and pure slander at the eminent Ulama and Awliya of the Ummah. Since the public do not have access to the references or are unacquainted with the language the Bareilwis brazenly cite kitaabs’ names in an attempt to mislead the unwary.
This trait of deception and slander has been inherited by the Qabar Pujaari sect from their spiritual father, the ‘a’la hazrat’ of the grave worshippers. His name was Ahmed Raza Khan. He had throughout his life conspired against the illustrious Ulama of Islam – the Ulama of Deoband – in cloak and dagger fashion. Then in 1323 Hijri he departed for Haj. After the Haj he stayed over at Makkah Mu’azzamah and compiled a treatise of slander and vilification of the Ulama of Deoband. He cunningly addressed the question of the Qadiaanis first and followed it up with a question and response on the Ulama of Deoband. He sought to pull wool over the eyes of unknowing people by portraying the Ulama of Deoband to be a deviant sect, on par to the Qaadianis. Then he attempted to secure the endorsement and signatures of the Ulama of Haramain Shareefain for his vitriolic slander. The Ulama of Haramain answered according to the questions prepared. After considerable behind the scenes shenanigans Ahmed Raza published his pamphlet of lies and slander.
When the Ulama of Haramain Shareefain were informed of the satanic scheme of this deviate they prepared a set of 26 questions for the Ulama of Deoband. The two most senior Ulama of Deoband, Hazrat Moulana Qaasim Saheb and Hazrat Moulana Rasheed Ahmed Saheb (Rahmatullahi alaihima) had in the meantime passed away. Hazrat Moulana Khaleel Ahmad Saheb responded to the questions. The answers were fully in accord with the Aqeedah of the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama’ah. Ulama of Haramain Shareefain from all four Math-habs and even the senior Ulama from Misr (Egypt) and Shaam (Syria) fully endorsed the answers and confirmed the correctness of the Beliefs of the Ulama of Deoband.
The same set of lies and slander were fed to the Ulama of Haramain. When they sought clarification they realized the dishonesty and deceit of Ahmed Raza Khan. This in a nutshell is the background to the pack of lies disgorged every now and then by Raza Khan’s offspring following in their mischievous father’s footsteps. What kind of Imaan and integrity do these grave worshipping bid’atis possess that they keep on harping on the lies fed to them by their spiritual head? It appears that festering on falsehood is an addiction to them. In front of ignoramuses they can pass off their dirty lies, but with the Fadhl of Allah Ta’ala they will never be able to hoodwink intelligent and discerning people. Their slanderous accusations against the Awliya of Allah shall be exposed. In fact, Allah Ta’ala will expose them for what they are, rotten liars. Allah Ta’ala warns these Bareilwi bid’atis that whosoever hurts His Wali, an ultimatum of war is given to the scoundrel. We will now proceed to remove the haze of confusion and scepticism which the Bareilwi grave worshippers have cast on you. And Taufeeq comes only from Allah Ta’ala.
Their Hallucinated False Belief 1
The allegation that according to the Ulama of Deoband, “Allah can speak lies” is a blatant slander. Never did our illustrious Akaabir make such a vile statement. Only brains suffering from the touch of Shaitaan can utter such a vile statement. These bid’atis take pleasure in concocting such evil and wicked statements. This should be a window to their mind-set. We present here the translation of an Istifta (question) and the Fatwa (verdict) from Hazrat Moulana Rashid Ahmad Gangohi’s Fataawa Rasheediyyah germane to this calumny.
The Zaat of Allah Ta’ala is pure and holy, beyond being attributed with the quality of kithb [falsehood/lies]. May Allah Ta’ala protect us. Never ever is there the slightest vestige of falsehood in His Kalaam [Words]. Allah Ta’ala says [in the Qur’aan]:
‘And who is more truthful than Allah in word?’
Whoever believes with regard to Allah Ta’ala or says verbally that Allah speaks lies is an absolute kaafir and mal’oon [accursed]. Such a person is an adversary of the Qur’aan, the Hadeeth and the Ijma’ of the Ummah. Never is he a Mu-min.
‘Allah Ta’ala is Most High and Above what [falsehood] the transgressors speak.’ (Qur’aan)”

It is the unanimous belief of all people of Imaan, however, that while Fir’oun, Haamaan and Abu Jahl, for example, have been proclaimed by the Qur’aan to be absolute Jahannamis [inmates of the Fire], nevertheless, Allah Ta’ala has the power to grant them Jannat although He will not do so. He has not been rendered impotent [by His promise]. He says [in the Qur’aan]:
‘And if We desire, we can give every person guidance, but from Me has been issued the decree that, verily I shall fill Jahannam with all of jinnkind and mankind.’
It is evident from this Verse that if Allah Ta’ala had willed, He would have made everyone Mu-min. But what He has proclaimed already, He will not act in contradiction thereof. All this is by the volitional power of Allah, not by compulsion. [Whatever He does is by His discretionary power and will.] He does whatever He wishes. This is the belief of the Ummah and hence in the Tafseer of Allah Ta’ala’s statement, ‘If You (O Allah) forgive them..,’ Qaadhi Baidhaawi [the great Mufassir] says: ‘There being no forgiveness for shir’k is the effect of the wa’eed [warning of Allah that He will not forgive shir’k]. Thus, with regard to forgiveness, there is no impossibility in the Zaat of Allah Ta’ala. [In other words, Allah Ta’ala still has the power to forgive even the mushrik, if He so wishes. His wa’eed over shir’k has not curtailed His power, Na’uthu Billah.]” (End of quote from Fataawa Rasheediyyah)
The above Fatwa of Hazrat Moulana Rasheed Ahmad Gangohi (Rahmatullahi alaih) was posed, in fact, by the Ulama of Makkah Mukarramah, and Ulama of all four Math-habs – Hanafi, Maaliki, Shaafi’i and Hambali – endorsed the response saying that it was the inexorable Haq.
From the above verdict of Hazrat Moulana Rasheed Ahmad Gangohi (Rahmatullahi alaih) the facts abundantly clear for all seekers of the Truth are:
He never said Allah Ta’ala speaks a lie or spoke a lie or will ever speak a lie.
He declared as kaafir and accursed a person who holds the view that Allah Ta’ala speaks lies or that the attribute of kithb is associated with him.
He affirms the belief of the Ahlus Sunnah that Allah Ta’ala has not lost any of His Qudrat in declaring shir’k to be unpardonable.
In spite of the emphatic endorsement of this Fatwa of Hazrat Moulana Rasheed Ahmad Gangohi (Rahmatullahi alaih) by the Ulama of Makkah Mukarramah, the Devil-in-Chief subsequently still laboured to squeeze a fatwa of kufr from the Ulama of Haramain and after Moulana Gangohi passed away he cunningly released his pamphlet of deceit and slander which was then rebutted by Hazrat Moulana Khaleel Ahmad with his response to the twenty-six questions posed by the Arab Ulama.
The Barelwis Displaying their Ignorance with their Slander of Hazrat Moulana Isma’eel Saheb Shaheed (Rahmatullahi Alaih) in their False Belief 2
Hazrat Moulana Isma’eel Saheb was a true Aalim of the Deen and Mujaahid in the Path of Allah Ta’ala. He spent his entire life for the sake of the Deen. He is in the crosshairs of the grave worshipping sect, however, for his outspoken criticism of acts of bid’ah, shir’k and dark innovation. His wonderful work,Taqwiyatul Imaan, robustly tackles the bid’aat of the times and demolishes the spurious arguments of the votaries of bid’ah. He has, therefore, earned the wrath of the Qabar Pujaari sect and is particularly targeted for vitriolic slander. He was martyred in the Battle of Balakot, fighting the imperialist British proxies, the Sikhs. May Allah Ta’ala grant him Jannatul Firdaus, Aameen.
The objection levelled by the Barelwis which is in fact stale and worn out, inherited by their devious elders, is another example of the bigotry and copro-mentality of this sect. A simple Urdu statement is rendered literally to convey the impression that Hazrat Moulana Shaheed Saheb (Rahmatullahi alaih) believed in the Mubaarak Body of Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) disintegrating in his qabr, Na’uthu-Billah, whereas this is furthest from the truth.
Qais Bin Sa’d, a Sahaabi returned from Hirah – a city in Iraq – and mentioned to Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) that he had seen the people there prostrating (making sajdah) to their ruler. Hazrat Qais (Radhiyallahu anhu) told Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) that he (Rasoolullah) was more deserving of being prostrated to. In response Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) asked: “Tell me, if you happen to pass by my grave will you make sajdah to it?” Hazrat Qais (Radhiyallahu anhu) replied: “No.” Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) then said: “Thus, do not (make sajdah to me).”(Sunan Abi Dawood)
Explaining Rasoolullah’s (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) response Hazrat Moulana Isma’eel Shaheed Saheb expressed in figurative expression that it meant: “I will also die and be mixed in sand. So where am I worthy of being made sajdah to?”
The purport is clear. Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said that he will also be put into a qabr. He will not live in this world forever. He is not a god and will hence pass over to his life in the qabr – the Aalam-e-Barzakh. Since he is not a god, sajdah should never be made to him. This is the simple meaning which Moulana Isma’eel Saheb Shaheed (Rahmatullahi alaih) conveyed. He did not at all mean by, “mixed in sand,” that the blessed body of Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) would become decomposed, as these copro-minded grave-worshippers have fabricated and disseminated. May Allah Ta’ala save us from such falsehood which reflects on the utter profanity the bid’atis relish in respect to Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). They unabashedly utter vile concocted statements and attribute the garbage to the Ulama of Deoband finding gratification in their insults to the Habeeb of Allah (Sallallahu alaih wa sallam). They will not escape the Wrath of Allah Ta’ala for the immense hurt they continuously inflict upon Sayyidul Mursaleen (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam).
It is salutary to mention that the above Hadeeth of Hazrat Qais debunks the bid’ah and shir’k of the Barelwi sect. Their acts of bowing, making tawaaf and even prostrating to graves and hence the appellation, the grave-worshipping sect, all come fully within the stricture of Rasoolullah’s declaration, “Then do not (worship me.)”
Their False Belief 3
In their “False Belief 3” they accuse Hazrat Moulana Shah Isma’eel Saheb (Rahmatullahi alaih) of belittling Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). In response to this slander we submit that Hazrat Nizaamud-Deen Awliya whose qabr the Barelwi bid’atis worship at Nizaamud-Deen, Delhi states in his kitaab,Fawaaidul Fuaad: “No person’s Imaan will be perfect until all creation are equal to the dropping of a camel in his sight.” Whatever interpretation the grave-worshippers labour to give to this statement of Hazrat Sultaanji (Rahmatullahi alaih), will be our response to their slander directed at Hazrat Isma’eel Shaheed (Rahmatullahi alaih). Hazrat Shaheed (Rahmatullahi alaih) said, “cobbler,”whereas Sultaanji (Rahmatullahi alaih) whose urs the bid’atis celebrate with pomp and pride says, “dropping of a camel!”
Their Devious False Belief 4
The level these bida’atis sink to in slandering the Ulama-e-Haq with rubbish accusations leaves one aghast at the evil and filth these grave worshippers conceal in their sensorium. The words of the Akaabir are mutilated and quoted out of text to give the impression to the unsuspecting masses that the Akaabir Ulama were audaciously disrespectful to Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). The distorted quotation from Shah Isma’eel Saheb’s kitaab, Siraatul Mustaqqeem is another example of the skulduggery this bid’ati sect is adept at.
Firstly, Hazrat Shaheed (Rahmatullahi alaih) did not say it is permissible to think of an ox and donkey in Salaat. The bid’atis are guilty of misquoting Hazrat Shaheed (Rahmatullahi alaih). Secondly, Hazrat Moulana Shah Isma’eel Saheb’s exact words confirm the greatness of Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). It is known or should be known that shir’k is to pay homage to a created being; to assign partners in the Sublime Zaat or Exclusive Sifaat (Attributes) of Allah Ta’ala. The greater the homage is paid to the created entity the greater the shir’k. And it is obvious that homage to Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) will be greater than worship to a cow or other animal by a mushrik. Thus, the shir’k in relation to the greatest of creation, Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) will be worse than the shir’k paid to other creation in view of the deference to Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) invariably being greater.
Hazrat Shaheed’s words can be easily understood now in the light of this explanation. He says: “To devote one’s attention to one’s shaikh or any other buzrug, be it Rasoolullah (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), is worse than to concentrate on one’s ox or donkey.” Further he says: “The thought of the shaikh is impressed in the heart with veneration and greatness, while the thought of an ox or donkey is ignoble. This veneration and deference in Salaat of anyone besides Allah leads one to shir’k.”
Hazrat Shaheed (Rahamtullahi alaih) was closing the avenue of shir’k – excessive veneration of Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaih wa sallam) leading to shir’k – as some Shuyookh of Tasawwuf of that time had instructed their mureedeen to engross themselves in the thought of Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), even during Salaat. The danger in this ta’leem is evident. Now that the full context and purport of Hazrat Moulana Isma’eel Saheb’s (Quddisa Sirruhu) words have been understood, the degree of skulduggery adopted by the Barelwi sect to present Hazrat Shaheed’s words to an unwary public as denigration of the lofty rank and status of Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) can be adequately gauged. They are the party guilty of insult and denigration of Allah’s Rasool (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam).
Then, not just content with calumny at the Ulama of Deoband, they attribute the following falsehood to the illustrious Fuqha: “According to the Fuqaha (Jurists) it is Waajib to believe that the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is observing you and he is aware of your actions.” By this the bid’atis refer to their concocted belief of Rasoolullah (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) having Ilmul Ghaib or knowledge of the unseen, whereas the Qur’aan emphatically declares: “Say, only Allah knows of the unseen.” (Surah Ankaboot)
The Aayat debunks the false aqeedah of the Barelwis in relation to Ilmul Ghaiband hence our Fuqaha – the Fuqaha of the Ahnaaf – state that such a belief in relation to Rasoolullah (Salllallahu alaihi wa sallam) is kufr. Whoever harbours this belief loses his Imaan and his nikaah becomes void.
Their Corrupt False Belief 5
The Barelwi sect belief of Nabi (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) being omnipresent as Allah Ta’ala is omnipresent, is unadulterated shir’k. They are the first deviant sect in Islam to concoct such a vulgar belief which militates violently against the teachings of the Qur’aan, Sunnah and Ijma’ of the Ummah.
Their Interposed False Belief 6
Hazrat Moulana Khaleel Ahmad Saheb (Rahmatullahi alaih) said in Baraaheen-e-Qaati’ah that to stand in the Meelaad gathering resembles the Hindu action of standing on the occasion of the hallucinated ‘birth’ of their deity, Kuhniyyah. The mushrik Hindus hallucinate the birth of this deity each year and consider it obligatory to stand in honour to this false god. The Barelwi bid’atis have borrowed this custom from their Hindu counterparts and thus they (the Barelwis), too, hallucinate the Birth of Rasoolullah (Sallalahu alaihi wa sallam) in their Meelaad gatherings and consider it waajib to stand. The similitude Moulana Khaleel Ahmed Saheb drew was the standing of the Barelwi bid’atis with the Hindus’ standing in their act of puja of Kuhniyyah, their deity’s mock birth.
The fact that Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) would fast on Mondays in no way lends support the bid’ati’s in their emulation of the Hindu custom of standing for their deity’s annual mock birth.
Their Baseless False Belief 7 and Calumny
Allah Ta’ala declares at several places in the Qur’aan-e-Kareem: “Verily Allah has power over everything.” At another place He states: “He does whatever He wills and wishes.” Whilst Allah Ta’ala has the power to create another Nabi, He will not create another Nabi after the Seal of the Ambiya, Muhammad Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) as He has declared that Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is the Final Nabi. Thus, He will not desire so. The accusation the grave worshippers have spewed at Hazrat Moulana Shaheed (Rahmatullahi alaih) is therefore baseless. In their insane criticism of the Akaabir of Deoband they border on profanity. Their enmity for the Ulama-e-Haq makes their vision oblique. This dangerous oblique vision entraps them in being profane in regard to the Majesty and Might of Allah Subhaanahu Wa Ta’ala and in denigrating the honour of Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). Imam Ghazaali (Rahmatullahi alaih) accurately stated that oblique vision is worse than being blind. We seek Allah Ta’ala’s protection.
In response to the citation from Tahzeerun Naas we defy the bid’ati’s to produce the original Urdu text of the calumny they have disgorged at Hazrat Moulana Qaasim Saheb. Nowhere in Tahzeerun Naas is the statement which they have attributed to him. This statement, in fact, is amongst the bile they have lapped up from their spiritual father and which they insanely regurgitate every now and then.
Their Misunderstood False Belief 8
The Qur’aan-e-Kareem states: “We have sent you (O Muhammad) purely as Rahmatullil Aalameen.” The Qur’aan does not say, “We have sent only you as Rahmatullil Aalameen.” The erroneous notion of the bid’atis should thus be manifest. It is not surprising at all that they lack understanding of basic Arabic and thus the erroneous meaning they have drawn from the Aayat of Surah Haj speaking of Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) being sent asRahmatullil Aalameen, for their decidedly poor understanding of even Urdu texts which is the mother tongue of their elders from whom they have inherited their archive of lies, deceit and downright slander is evidenced by their profuse blunders in the texts they quote of our Akaabir.
This then is the reality of the slanders which the Ahl-e-Bid’ah consider to be part and parcel of their grave worshipping cult. ""

Two things to note, they are deobandi bunch, and they play a major role in deceiving South African muslim youth masses into believing that they are representatives on understandings of Islam and practices of shariah, and that Deoband is a ground of Islamic safety.

Another thing to note is that they are well organised in daily matters that affect muslims in the country at large, and this gains the trust of the unwary masses.

However since Mawlana Abu Hasan Rampuri has referred to some of the 'mureeds' of Huzur Sayyiduna Shaykh ul Islam Taaj ush Shariah Allamah Mufti Akhtar Raza Khan al Qadri al Azhari hafizahullahu Ta'ala in a very negative way. I must say believe me if I start with my direct personal experiences of the Attari Ilyasi mureeds the situation will get very messy.

I do not agree with what is going on and the elite aakaabir have nothing to do with the false propaganda. Namely Huzur Sayyiduna Shaykh ul Islam Taaj ush Shariah Allamah Mufti Akhtar Raza Khan al Qadri al Azhari and Huzur Sayyiduna Muhaddis e Kabeer Allamah Mufti Zia ul Mustafa al Qadri al A'azami hafziahumAllahu Tabaarak wa Ta'ala.
